Green Changemakers

Lou Mycroft co-created the Green Changemakers programme with Fircroft College of Adult Education in 2023. Green Changemakers is a systems, mindset and culture change initiative, which trains 3% of any workforce in changemaking skills, bringing energy, spirit and momentum to the organisation’s environmental justice (good) intentions, creating joyful communities and offering a unique consultancy perspective.

Following the initial pilot in the West Midlands, Green Changemakers is now a social enterprise, currently working with four further education colleges in Yorkshire, the East Midlands and East Anglia. We become a Community Interest Company in 2026.

The RoundView is the missing piece of the Green Changemakers jigsaw (ironically!), the bit we were missing with the original pilot. It’s the first activity we do with Green Changemakers after the welcome stage. No matter what we come into the room knowing (or thinking we know), it gets us all on the same page with ’the science stuff’ and enables us to see where potentia – joyful changemaking energy – fits in. Everyone loves it – always – and, as facilitators, we learn something new every time. Lou is helping us develop new ways to incorporate RoundView into changemaking and skills development programmes.
